Novel name- Adventures of Lauren.. Chapter 1

 Chapter 1- THE NEIGHBOUR 

Mr and Mrs. Lewis lived in Los Angles, California. They both were doctors. They had two kids Lauren and Adam. Adam is the youngest who is just 11 years old and studying in the same class as her sister. He is a child prodigy. His parents are the most proud of him. Lauren is the eldest studying in the 10th grade who is not so good in studying but when it comes to adventures and being a detective she is the best. She loves solving puzzles etc. But her parents don't like that and want her to pursue science as her career. 

It was a pleasant Monday morning. Lauren had a habit of sleeping late at night whereas Adam would sleep early at night. As a result Lauren would wake up late. Her mom being frustrated shouted,"Lauren get up! How much sleep do you need! Learn something from Adam." Adam was always happy when his mom or dad would compare him to Lauren. He always put kerosene in fire. He also shouted," Get up Sister! Today I am gonna know the results. I don't wanna miss that because of you getting late. " Lauren in her sleepy voice shouted," Coming mother, and shut up Adam!!" 

They all got ready for school. Their father in the car while dropping Lauren and Adam to school said to Lauren," Lauren, I hope you get nice grades like Adam."" Dad I tried my best. "said Lauren. Adam sarcastically said to Lauren," Ofcourse you did!" 

After a few minutes they all reached school. Lauren and Adam headed towards their classrooms and sat with their friends. The class was very noisy.  Their class teacher, Ms. Martin came and who class became silent. She greeted ' good morning ' to everyone and said," Ok everyone so now I am gonna tell you your results. Before that I would like to announce name of the topper and of course they'd win the medal for being topper." Adam crossed his finger. Ms. Martin continued," The topper is none than ADAM LEWIS!" The whole class clapped for him except Lauren. Ms. Martin said," Very good Adam.. You are actually an inspiration to whole class. So now I will inform the marks.Adam Lewis- 98%, Hannah Anderson- 85%, Matthew Sanchez- 92% Very good, Lauren Lewis- 59%- Lauren you need to improve...." While Ms. Martin was telling the results of  the rest of the class, Lauren was very sad. She was thinking how will she explain herself to her parents and also was imagining Adam teasing her about that. 

After a few hours,Adam and Lauren came back home and they both saw their mother at home. Lauren asked," Mom, what are you doing here? You should be at the hospital."" Oh actually there are some new neighbours so they needed the key of their apartment. So tell me about your results." Mrs. Lewis asked. Adam replied happily," Mom I am the topper of my class. I got 98% and Lauren Haha! She... she got just 59%." Her mom happily said," Excellent Adam! I am so happy. I will make your favourite Mexican food today and also your favourite hamburger!!"" Mum but I hate Mexican food!" said Lauren. Her mom said," You shut up! You are not a topper, you didnt score nice. Why should I make something you like. From today you are not watching tv. And Adam will take your extra classes and Adam, if your sister behaves Badly with you, you should come and tell me. "Adam with laughing said," You got it mother!" Lauren went to her room crying.  

Meanwhile, Mrs. Lewis went to their new neighbor's to give them the key of their apartment. She seen a family their and gave them their key. She said," So I see you are new here. Well I am Flora Lewis, And it's nice to meet you."" I am Giselle Jackson. Nice to meet you too and Thank you for giving our key." said Mrs. Jackson very weirdly as if she was scared about something. She left from there.

In the evening, Lauren went to the park after doing all her homework with Adam's guidance. She saw a girl, whom she saw for the first time, sitting on the bench. She said to her," Hello. I have never seen you here before."The girl said," Oh, I am new here."" Oh you are our new neighbour, I am Lauren Lewis."" I am Isabella. Isabella Jackson." she said in a very weird way. Isabella asked Lauren," Why do you look sad?"Lauren told her the whole story. Lauren said," Well enough about me, tell me about you where are you from?" Isabella was acting very odd when Lauren asked her the question. Isabella said," Oh...um.. I am from um....""Yes?".....
